Tydex was founded in 1994 by former scientists of the Yofa Institute of Physics and Technology of the Russian Academy of Sciences. It is located in St. Petersburg, Russia’s optical “heart”. Tydex specializes in custom production of optical components and instruments including: terahertz wave photonics, terahertz components, spectrometers, temperature measurement and thermal imaging, sensors and detectors, etc. The product application wavelength ranges from DUV, VIS, NIR, MIR to MM wave (terahertz).
